Lauren
McLeod, RDC,
Certified Social Worker
Director of the RDC Center
Lauren has served as the RDC
Center Director since the Center opened in 1991. She is also
one of its three original founders.
She graduated from Good Counsel
College with a B.A. in English. Afterwards she received a M.S.
in education from Keene State College (N.H.) following which
she taught elementary through high school students and served
as a guidance counselor at Good Counsel Academy. |

Lauren worked at the White Plains office of Catholic Charities
for five years in the late 1980s - early 1990s. When
that office closed, she and other members of her order, the Religious
of Divine Compassion (RDC), founded the RDC Center to carry on
the mission of providing affordable counseling services to the
community.
She sought additional training
and graduated from the Fordham University School of Social Work
with an M.S. in social work. Lauren is now a licensed New York
State social worker, with an MSW. She is a member of the National
Association of Social Workers with more than 13 years experience
in this field.
She describes working one-on-one
with her clients as the most rewarding aspect of her work. She
is proud of the work of the RDC Center and her vision for it
is that it continue to serve those who might otherwise be unable
to afford counseling.

Joan
Haley, RDC, M.S,
Pastoral
and Marriage Counselor
Mary Joan Haley is one of the
three founders of the RDC Center. She has been associated with
the Good Counsel campus and the Religious of Divine Compassion
(RDC) for most of her life.
Raised in Brooklyn, Joan, as
she is known, came to Good Counsel Academy as an elementary school
student, eventually joining the order after graduation from Good
Counsel High School.
She earned her B.A. degree at
Good Counsel College and a Masters Degree in biology from
Fordham University. |

Her early career was a mix of teaching and administration. Starting
as an elementary school teacher, she eventually taught science,
Latin and religion at the high school level. She also served
as Director of Novices for the Sisters of the Divine Compassion,
as well as Superior of the order.
When Joans professional
interests turned to counseling, she earned a Masters Degree
in pastoral counseling from Iona College, taking additional courses
at Fairfield and Fordham Universities. She worked as a counselor
at Catholic Charities from 1988 until 1991, when the White Plains
office closed. Then, she and other members of her order founded
RDC Center to continue providing affordable counseling services
to the community. She has been a counselor at RDC Center since
that time. Her goal is to Help people bring about peace
in their lives.
In her leisure time, Joan is
an avid Dodgers fan, who has followed the teams progress
and fortunes from their Ebbetts Field days to the present.

Joan
A. OSullivan, PhD.
Educational
Psychologist
Dr. O'Sullivan, a licensed psychologist
in both New York and Connecticut, specializes in childhood development.
She received a B.A. in English
from Good Counsel College and a M.S. in guidance and counseling
from Fairfield University. She has a certificate of advanced
study in learning disabilities from New York University and a
doctorate in psychology from Pace University. |

Previously she was a consulting psychologist in the Greenwich
schools early childhood special education program and a
learning disabilities specialist at Greenwich High School. She
has spent more than 21years in the field of education with a
concentration in learning disabilities. In addition to academic
skills development, she conducts educational assessments.
Dr. O'Sullivan brings her expertise
in educational psychology to the RDC Enter with a warm and friendly
manner. Her personal interest and caring manner have assisted
both children and parents to better understand issues affecting
learning and development. She has assisted teachers, parents
and students through planning and implementing effective educational
programs.
Joan's work involves identifying
learning styles, strengths and weaknesses through formal psycho-educational
evaluation. She provides practical recommendations for program
placement, behavioral management and educational planning as
the culmination of her analysis.
In addition to her clinical expertise,
Dr. O'Sullivan is known around the RDC Center for her energy
and enthusiasm and her adept skill in repairing things.

Evelyn
Saeli
Certified
Social Worker
Ms. Saeli has more than 13 years
experience. She received a B.A. from Fordham University College
of Liberal Arts and a masters degree in social work from
Fordham Universitys Graduate School of Social Services.
She is a certified social work field instructor and holds an
advanced certificate in clinical social work. Ms. Saeli provides
short and long-term individual and family therapy, assessment
and referral and crisis intervention. |

Karen
Usin Tantillo, LCSW
Ms Tantillo has
worked extensively in outpatient mental health and inpatient psychiatric
facilities in both New York City and South Carolina. She has provided
evaluation and treatment to children, adolescents and their families
in areas that include depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD,
oppositional
behaviors, familial conflict and adjustment reactions due to divorce,
loss and trauma. Ms. Tantillo received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology
from Fordham University and a Master of Social Work from New York University
in 1989.
Ms. Tantillo
joined the RDC Center in March 2004 and provides individual,
family, and couples therapy using both cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic
approaches. |

Through
the Center, Ms. Tantillo acts as guidance counselor for the Holy
Family School in New Rochelle. She is
a member of the National Association of Social Workers and Academy
of Certified Social Workers.
Ms. Tantillo is married
and the mother of three children. |

Jaclyn
Trapp
Ms Trapp joined the RDC Center
Staff in November 2004. She handles insurance billing as well as
provides clerical support to the staff.
Jaclyn graduated from Mamaroneck High
School in 1996. She attended both Emerson College in Boston and the
College of New Rochelle as an English major. She is a twice published
poet, and has been working in the Medical Administration Field since
1999. |
